Time flies so fast. Yesterday was September, and now October. Just like the swift transitions of weather and seasons, let me share these things that my family and I love about the month of September.

“Merry Christmas!” 🎄
I am among millions of Filipinos worldwide who celebrate Christmas as early as September 1. I started greeting my family and friends on social media and began playing the beautiful holiday songs of Jose Mari Chan. Christmas is celebrated during the “ber” months in the Philippines – September, October, November, and December. The celebration ends in the first week of January. Mabuhay ang Paskong Pinoy!
“Hello, Fall!” 🍁
Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall? Experiencing each season in Canada, my wife and I prefer the Fall or Autumn season because of its cool breeze and orange leaves. The weather is suitable for indoor and outdoor activities. The trees are picture-perfect as well. An excellent coffee, a favorite movie, and just the right amount of rain and sunlight will complete this perfect bed weather.
“Back-to-School!” 🏫
This season is the most wonderful time of the year… for parents like me. The vacation is over. And the kids are back to their weekday routine. I am so happy to experience at least once again a few hours of peace and solitude in the house.

I also love September because it is my wife’s birth month. 👩🎉🎂
