As a digital marketer, I always seek ways to improve my skills and learn new strategies to grow my business and career. That’s why I decided to enroll in some free online courses that HubSpot Academy, the worldwide leader in inbound marketing, sales, and customer service training, offers.
HubSpot Academy has hundreds of topics, ranging from social media and email marketing to SEO and inbound sales. They also offer globally recognized certifications that you can add to your LinkedIn profile to show your expertise and credibility, which I did.

In this blog post, I want to share the three certifications I gained from HubSpot Academy and how they helped me achieve my goals. These are:

Digital Marketing Certification
The Digital Marketing Certification is a comprehensive course that covers the fundamentals of inbound marketing, from attracting leads and engaging prospects to delighting customers and measuring ROI. It also teaches you how to use the HubSpot software to implement and optimize your inbound marketing campaigns.
This certification helped me learn how to create a buyer persona, set SMART goals, build a content strategy, design a conversion path, and more. It also gave me access to a network of other digital marketers who shared their best practices and insights.
Email Marketing Certification
The Email Marketing Certification is a practical course that teaches you how to communicate with impact, drive growth, and deliver revenue with strategic email. It covers email design, deliverability, segmentation, personalization, automation, and analytics.
This certification helped me improve my email marketing skills and results. I learned how to craft engaging subject lines, write compelling copy, optimize for mobile devices, and test different variables. I also learned how to use the HubSpot email tool to create and send effective email campaigns.
Social Media Marketing Certification
The Social Media Marketing Certification is an advanced course that teaches you how to extend your reach and generate leads with a multi-channel social media strategy. It covers social media listening, content creation, distribution, promotion, and measurement.
This certification helped me develop a social media strategy that aligns with my business goals and audience needs. I learned how to create and share remarkable content, leverage paid and organic tactics, and measure and optimize my social media performance. I also learned how to use the HubSpot social media tool to manage and monitor my social media activities. They also have the Social Media Marketing Certification II, which I plan to take soon.
